Wow, that's terrible. The initial story about it this morning said that he was allowed to maintain contact with his kids. Not sure where the disconnect is.

If the complaint really said his kids were being abused or if there was evidence of that, there's no way the judge should've allowed him to remain in contact. I would argue that he shouldn't be in contact with his kids regardless.

The complaint is linked in a New York Post article. It is graphic and I'm not linking it here. I wish I had never read it. He is a very sick, twisted man.

It appears that whomever wrote the statement you quoted was mistaken. There's nothing in the complaint alleging he created the abusive material. There's nothing in the complaint about anything taking place in the home other than he used his home internet at that address to gather/share it.

The good news is they have so much evidence on him he's as good as toast.

What crimes qualify for the death penalty? Asking for a friend...

I think a vast majority of drag queens are good people, and it's something akin to a clown or a theater person.

With that said, I don't understand the phenomenon of drag queens reading to kids and certainly understand someone's choice to not want their kids to partake.

Drag is a lot of things, it's about expressing yourself in many different ways.

I also don't believe there is any real correlation between drag queens and pedophilia.

And there is data out there that gay men are not pedophiles at a rate higher than anyone else, which another poster boldly made that claim on the deleted thread with zero data to back it up.

That has been disproven on this board at least a dozen times in the last decade.

Yeah Drag Queen Story Hour is a big no for me, just like taking my kids to a pride parade. No slight against regular every day gay/lesbians, but from the pics of the parades I've seen its an excuse for deplorable over sexualized behavior. I would not sooner expose my child to that than I would a Stripper Story Hour or take them to a burlesque show. It's just a messed up depraved thing to do.

Generally I think parents that force their child's participation in such events are the kinds that want their kid to be trans or some other specialized classification.

So it also turns out he wasn't president of drag queen story hour. He was linked to them because he worked for another organization that hosted a few events for them, but he wasn't actually part of the group itself.
