Maybe the book is about the freedom enjoyed by many because a merry band of white colonials decided to put their life on the line to secure said freedom. Then drafted a form of government ensuring the future freedom of people they would never know. Freedom that affords people the ability to research obscure topics. Maybe.

Not sure where either I or the person I was replying to mentioned communism (but if putting words in people's mouths make you feel better, good for you). I was simply responding to his comment that people who had their ancestors enslaved and brought to America had it better than africans who remained in Africa by pointing out that part of what has caused the current issues in Africa stem from slavery and other primarily European interventions in the continent.

My wife has been reading a collection of writings from 1920-1960.

Back then, the American socialists tried to say the West wasn't really free (because oppression of workers), and that the Soviet Union was really a democracy, but democracy under socialism is more equitable.

In other words, the left has been playing versions of this game for 100 years.

He is more than welcome to gtfo out here and see how great life will be elsewhere.

The Western idea of freedom is what ended human slavery in most of the world. Western, Mediterranean and European philosophers were the first to view survey as an intolerable institution that violated the inherent equality of all men.

These are companies where our system, the system that blacks want to destroy due to racism, have made them successful.

The original post had to do about Africa and can you give me one African country, run by blacks, that has been successful?

Even Nigeria, rich in oil, is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

I was replying to one poster- Thomas sowell and stating that there is more context to his assertion that blacks whose ancestors were brought over as slaves were better off than people who remained in Africa... didn't realize that meant I was defending the original video posted

All of us are better off being Americans in relation to the people currently in the countries our ancestors came from. This is still the greatest country that has ever existed, I just wish more people were grateful for being born here regardless of the history in which their ancestors arrived.

What? Capitalism or our system is a 'white system'? All 'blacks' want to destroy our system? I had no clue that this issue was so black and white. I responded to a poster that said blacks hadn't run anything worth two honky shts in the world. I provided examples of black run companies in this world that were successful.
But I'll give your challenge a try- South Africa has done remarkably well transitioning from apartheid to a country run by a majority of blacks.
