Heard on TV this AM that two of the deaths considered a result of the Jan 6 event were suicides committed shortly afterward. What???

This is news to me, and very strange. How is this not getting more attention?

Not sure.

If serious.

I think that makes it two suicides, two strokes/heart attacks and one protestor shot to death by law enforcement

If that was a planned armed insurrection it certainly wasn't a very good one

And btw, if the left had done this, the gal shot by capitol police would be revered by the Left like Rosa effing Parks or the dopes killed by troops at Kent State

Those people did not commit suicide.

Saw a blurb yesterday saying that the security guy that killed himself the weekend after the riot was hit in the head by a metal pole. The implication of course was that hit to the head led to his suicide, never mind that this is the first report of him being hit by anything and the fact that he was wearing a helmet was buried down in the article.

Remember! One actual protest death and delaying a vote for two hours is a brutal insurrection but 25+ dead, millions of lives ruined and 2 billion in damage is just good old fashioned patriotism!

Well she is no Jacob Blake for sure, won't get her name on helmets and jerseys.

Woman shot by capital cops, 3 heart attacks/strokes, and not sure what happened to the capital policeman but autopsy showed no blunt trauma force. So, while very sad that people died, A LOT more died in the BLM riots / antifa activity this past summer in very violent circumstances yet not a peep from the lapdogs in the media.

Chick Fil A's head of public relations died of a stress induced heart attack at the peak of the LGBT movements protesting against the company for its owners support of traditional marriage.

Nobody ever thought or even insinuated the LGBT movement killed the man. Not even those closest to Mr. Perry.

The world is a more dangerous place being led to beleive that conservatives are the evil ones.

I seem to remember several posters using the "death count" to further the lie that this was an insurrection or a coup....I'm sure they'll be here shortly to admit they were wrong, and they bought a false media narrative...

Sounds allot like what they accuse Trump supporters of....the hypocrisy never ends.

We all know everyone other than the shooting victim was killed by Covid19. No sense hiding it.

Two capitol police officers killed themselves after the insurrection.

If you're interested in learning about the suffering put on Capitol Police officers by Trump supporters attempting to overturn the results of a free and fair election, read here:

----------------------------
Around 5:35 p.m., Smith was still fighting to defend the building when a metal pole thrown by rioters struck his helmet and face shield. After working into the night, he visited the police medical clinic, was put on sick leave and, according to his wife, was sent home with pain medication.

In the days that followed, Erin said, her husband seemed in constant pain, unable to turn his head. He did not leave the house, even to walk their dog. He refused to talk to other people or watch television. She sometimes woke during the night to find him sitting up in bed or pacing.

"He wasn't the same Jeff that left on the 6th. . . . I just tried to comfort him and let him know that I loved him," she said. "I told him I'd be there if he needed anything, that no matter what, we'll get through it. I tried to do the best I could."

Smith returned to the police clinic for a follow-up appointment Jan. 14 and was ordered back to work, a decision his wife now questions. After a sleepless night, he set off the next afternoon for an overnight shift, taking the ham-and-turkey sandwiches, trail mix and cookies Erin had packed.

On his way to the District, Smith shot himself in the head.
