How is this managed by single parents or parents with multiple young kids?

Just Have more and Uncle Joe will give you more money, more money equals sitter and more time for making more dependent kids, just don't get married or employed!
It’s not about left or right; it’s about Right or Wrong.

By finding a new pediatrician.

As the mother of 3 kids, 12-year-old twins and an 11-year-old, I seriously would have found a new physician... and I am not a single parent.

I'm old enough to remember when Texags coronabros were mad that there were parents with multiple kids at the grocery store.

Most doctor's offices will work with people to fit their needs. It's pretty easy to understand unless you're trying to use the plight of others to push your own political agenda.
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

Where's the "aggiedaddudewithkids" that posts here. He's got like 9 kids. I am CERTAIN he knows the answer to this one.

Good on you, btw.

wombat is right, let your money do all the talking, if you wish to make a bigger splash inform other mothers at this pediatrician to do the same.

I'm not making THREE separate trips to see the doctor because they are afraid of COVID cooties. I remember having to take preemie twins in there and people in the waiting room probably had worse illnesses than COVID; they weren't limited to one parent one kid.

Easy, just leave your remaining children unattended in a car. What could go wrong?

I thought this was more about both parents coming to an appointment than about bringing siblings along....

This is hilarious, as I angrily stormed out of a dentist's office the other day because i had come along to help my wife with the 3 kids who had appointments.

I was told I wasn't allowed because "only one adult per family". Nevermind I was wearing the pointless mask and we all fit in the section taped off per family. Oh, and that we were the only ones in there. Even offered to go sit with my son in a separate section, but nope, the cooties.

I let some choice words fly as I left that office for the last time.

I'm glad all these ****tards who base everything on "Science" can keep their stories straight.

We see a whole slew of doctors and most of them have been willing to work with us. The only issue we had was the dentist when they wanted my 6 year old to take care of my 4 year old and for me to stay in the car. Luckily my kids are little hellions when they want to be and I quickly was allowed in lol.

These people are morons. A 6 year old watching a 4 year old. If have been thrilled for a few minutes of rest in the car by myself.

The CDC updated their guidelines today. People who have been vaccinated are no longer advised to quarantine after exposure, so that greatly reduces the risk of these offices having to shut down if one of their staff gets exposed and infected.

Will that change any of these policies? Likely not in the near future but hopefully in the medium term.

My wife is a pediatrician and her practice does not require this. They limit one parent but you can bring in multiple kids. If your pediatrician is limiting the kids you might look around.

If you live in or near Austin you might try ARC or Pediatric Center of Round Rock

I went to the Dr visit yesterday. Signs everywhere to wear a mask.

I went inside without mask, got my procedure done without a mask and booked a return appointment without a mask.

Dr and nurses all had masks. Nobody bothered me. I love living in small towns.

More folks need to grow a pair.

And, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor...
