I went on a recon tour of Kroger two days ago.

It's a standard part of the job in Congress to give tours to donors and other constituents. Curious how this particular person was able to say it was for purposes of reconnaissance and not just a standard tour.

So, a bunch of their constituents come up for events and done apply and sign up for tours with their congressperson while visiting, and this is done, and without any evidence of planning or coordination, this allegation is made?

Unless such tours are extremely uncommon, I'd think this is baseless conjecture to create more political hostility.

Visitor: "Hi I am planning to riot at the capital tomorrow, can I get a tour so I know where everything is?"

GOP Representative: "Sure. Stop by any time after lunch."

My newly elected congressman was there with his family before and during the attack (his family wasn't at the building on 1/6). Per his wife's Facebook, they were there touring the capital building the day before the riot.

With that said, this story is confirmed. Congressmen were giving tours on 1/5.

The FBI will be all over this. If there are members of the insurrection who toured with a representative the day before, that representative has some 'splaining to do.

Um, I used to give these tours. I'm trying to figure out how/why a rep would be spending time observing tours. When you see them there, they're either going to/from committee meetings or the chambers for votes.

Do these people want Civil War? They sure are pushing that wedge.

If that's the case we'll get confirmation by arrests made public of those alleged individuals.

From what's being said, there are plenty of people that got inside the Capitol are already talking, so no need to rush to judgement; it'll all come out in due time.

Gohmert has given weekly night tours of the Capitol for years for anyone who wants to join. Giving history of the different areas, etc. One of the absolute high points of one of our visits. Sure the powers that be will scour the records if these and put my family of four on "the list" for that tour three years ago. Him handing out little Hershey's from the desk of the PA senator and talking about his BBQ ribs he would do for all reps sure was "inciting an insurrection."

The funny things is you don't believe the Democrat Party and elements of the Federal bureaucracy attempted to oust the duly-elected POTUS from 2016-2017.

Get back to us when you have evidence of Republicans falsifying information, surveilling the opposition political party, and threatening imprisonment on individual's family members simply because they work for the POTUS.

Yep, something is very fishy here. Tourists travel to DC for a protest and do tourist things while there. Surprised the CIA didn't connect the dots here.

Oh, there almost 100K terrorists that have done youtube reconnaissance on this virtual tour. Hope the FBI tracks them all down!
