As an influential member of the media Tucker has sources, but he doesn't have the sources that are scouring Chinese social media and able to grab a smoking gun video that is only up for a couple hours.
There are more interested parties who do that. Those parties have gotten whatever use they needed out of the video and now it's being pushed out to the media for public consumption. That's why the Washington Times also received access to the video. If the interested parties have decided this videos most useful impact is public consumption, they are already on to their next phase.

Why is having a trade war and being unable to resolve disputes a good thing? I mean I get that we need to deal and fight for things but China's not going anywhere. We need to be able to work with them.

You answered your own question. We need to work WITH them, as equals, not for them.
Past administrations have allowed China to steal our intellectual property, restriction imports of US goods, and other things that benefit China, Inc but hurt US citizens.
Disputes were being resolved but in a more equitable way. The trade war was a means to obtain a more mutually equitable relationship with China, without the US caving to everything that the communists want.
My faith that this election will get overturned is waning. However, I will say this....if it does...Trump is going to wreck China.

I've posted before....China is a FAR bigger threat to our country than Russia. Not even close.

You are absolutely right. Let's ignore the fact that they are buying off our politicians and universities. Let's ignore the fact that they corrupted they political process to get a presidential candidate elected that they have bought off too.
After all, this has started a conversation about working with China. That's the important thing. Holding them accountable for their actions will get us nowhere in the trade dispute.
