This is so good. He has several related to this topic and they are all worth a listen.

Why is it a "must watch"?

No one is going to spend the time to watch a 50 minute video unless you provide a synopsis.

He also has a really good one in cultural Marxism where he discusses how Marxist ideas have penetrated society and how dangerous Obama is.

Vodie was one of the Baptist preachers who signed on to denounce the creep of CRT in the church.

I've never seen him publicly advocate for a politician (maybe he has, I just missed it) but he's strongly against Marxism.

Ethnic Gnosticism is the idea that you can have special knowledge because of the color of your skin.

I'm guilty and I repent of coinage as Voddie defined it.

Gnosticism is a special knowing that is only available to the ones who know and have that knowledge. Ethnic Gnosticism is this concept that only a black person can ever know what is and is not racist and bigotry because they know simply by being black. Just like one is guilty of being a racist because one is white, blacks have knowledge about racism and get to define it simply because they are black. If you say something to a black person that they perceive as racist, it is racist by the very fact that the black person took it as such.

Very good summary. I would like to add that he described it as, "it's a black thing, you wouldn't understand" and he is denouncing it.

You can not assign what is in someone's heart and condemn people based on how you perceive their actions or remarks. He says there is a ditch on both sides of the road. On one side is the ditch that says I am colorblind, I don't see things in terms of black/white/brown because our cultures are important. On the other side is a ditch that race/culture is the only thing that matters. Both are incorrect and we need to stay between those two ditches.

He also explained homogeneous cultures around the world and why America is great because we are all of those cultures. How Olympic processions show each country and their homogeny, and America is a blend of all those cultures. The road of slavery is a great sin, but it led to him being born in the greatest country. Nowhere else on earth are black people trying to get someone more so than America because Black Americans are the most wealthy and educated blacks in all the world.

Voddie is an awesome speaker. Usually spot on. I first came across him when I heard his "Children of Caesar" presentation (about Christians losing their kids in public schools).

I also thought it was interesting how he denounced tokenism and wanted to be judged on his merits, but the recurring ad was for blackjobs.com that said, "Fortune 500 companies want to hire black candidates, upload your application now".

He is an effective speaker and the video was worth my time.

I posted another sermon of his on the Religion/Phil board. Brought me to tears this morning.

Voddie was a pastor in Spring, TX before teaching theology in Africa. That is much needed over there. Great news. They need a Reformation as we all do.

Voddie shows the only cure for racism.

Yeah...but there is a presence in the preaching of God's word that just doesn't convey the anointing this man has on his life in written form. Something about the vocal essence of the Holy Spirit working on the human soul.

We must pray for him on our prayer lists because he will definitely be under attack.

Met him in the 90's. Very smart and quite impressive presence.

ETA - If you're lucky and get to meet him, ask him about his "BBQ Sauce" that will "awaken a sleeping mummy".

It's sad that so many educated people are so ignorant. Voddie Baucum Is not one of those people.
