David Wood is a Christian apologist on YouTube. He made an origami pig out of pages taken from the Koran. Ebay took down his auction and now it appears he's going to sue them. I wonder if he has a chance of winning if he does.

Well remember you can **** all over Christianity but the minute you say something about Islam you're either banned or even worse, murdered.

I'm sure ebay can do whatever they want, as it should be. He can sell that anywhere else

Actually, no. This is a response to a Muslim (whom he had debated in London) that sent out a bunch of tweets telling other Muslims to harass his wife and a few popular Ex-Muslim's wife's. David Wood asked him to take them down and the Muslim refused. So David Wood used quotes in the Quran about Muslims to stop being A-Holes when they start attacking allah. When that didn't work, he decided to make origami of things Muslims hate or mocking things in their sources. It's been pretty entertaining.

Actually yes. This guy is a nobody that some people pay attention to because he says things they want to hear. Anything he does is likely to be motivated by getting more views and thus increasing his ad revenue. He's a publicity ***** just like all the other social media influencers. The guy even links his PayPal and patreon accounts in his YouTube about section.

Do you even know Christian apologetics? Do you even know that most of the out reach is online? Do you know that he has a PHD in philosophy but can't work as an associate professor anymore because early in his ministry Muslims would harass the school he taught at? Why don't you do some actual research before you spout nonsense. His YouTube and patreon is his how he earns a leaving. He charges nothing to go on speaking events. He even donates a good amount to other channels to help build their ministries.

I already knew everything about him that you posted. None of it changes the fact that he's a publicity ***** posting videos to get money. Feel free to donate to his PayPal account if you wish.

His lawsuit will likely go nowhere because it's just another publicity stunt.

There's an aggressive investor that gets a group of investors with him, they buy up a huge chunk of a company's stock, as much as 4-5%, then they start getting loud to the board about changes. These are the types of changes that involve selling off profitable parts of the company to bring in some quick capital, then the investment group will bail with their profits while the company goes under.

They bought into ebay some time ago and are working on getting them to sell paypal, which would be the death of ebay.

I used to follow a few ebayers on YouTube, but I haven't watched in a while. This summer eBay ended it's contract with Paypal and is now doing "managed payments" through eBay. I don't know the details, but seems a good number of sellers aren't liking the system and higher potential fees. There has been other things like promoted listings with hidden fees and stuff as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the clothing and accessories sellers move to places like poshmark. A lot of the resellers of new products are moving to Amazon. If they can get approved they do Amazon FBA (fulfilled by Amazon), and they just send their merchandise to Amazon and Amazon will ship it for them. Of course there are costs with this, but they don't have to ship themselves. There are a ton of reselling websites these days.

I don't know that eBay will die, but it's definitely going to change in the next 6-12 months with the new payment system.

Lol except you already mentioned the main difference in your post. I don't get paid and I don't try to funnel people to My PayPal account.
