I can't stand Lebron's pandering and poor me attitude but paying tribute to Boseman is in no way a bad thing.
I didn't agree with his politics, but Boseman by all appearances was a good man and fellow believer in Christ.
I don't know what it's like to be a black man and have a few people rise the ranks of Hollywood , but to then have an black actor that EVERYBODY looks up to and celebrates become an overnight sensation and become one of the highest earning movies of all time. Him paying homage to somebody that broke some racial barriers just doesn't move the needle on me and I think Lebron is a pandering cry baby.
It is unbelievably cheesy and fake.
And it's always him being "that guy".
He's like that person who tried too hard in high school and was constantly Making an ass of himself, but worth billions.
Don't get me wrong. Lebron tries to hard in everything. He's making up for the fact that he's truly ignorant about a lot of the world outside of being a millionaire and his only way to react is lashing out and name calling.
Heck, I'm ignorant about a lot of the world but my first reaction isn't to call anybody else that doesn't agree with me a racist.
Lebron has done a lot of good for a lot of people. That's not lost on me. It's just unfortunate that he chooses to purposely divide with his words.
I just don't see doing a Wakanda forever salute as that bad in the list of stupid things he's done. Heck, when I broke the news to my kids we did a Wakanda forever salute because we all loved the movie.
