A friend of ours has a condo in Trump Tower and she had to move to New Jersey. The NYC local and NY state governments have made her a prisoner in her residence.

All the famous shops along ground level have had their windows smashed out and are boarded up. Normally the sidewalks are a sea of humanity but there isn't a sole on them anymore. The most valuable real estate in the world has been turned into an Antifa/BLM/democrat wasteland in only two months. It's awful.

Bill DeBlasio, Cuomo and Antifa/BLM are horrendous. It's interesting the extent of the devastation hasn't been better reported.

If Biden wins, this will eventually come to a city near you.

This is the kind of thing Trump's team needs to be out filming and creating content for to distribute far and wide. Across multiple cities like NYC, Minneapolis, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, San Fran, Atlanta. There is a clear choice for people in those urban areas: continue to vote and side with Dems and live in a war zone with trash and thugs ruling the day, or vote for law and order and prosperity.

It's incredible the lack of accountability Democrats take with China. Just a few weeks ago during the uproar over Russian bounties, which I guess has since been debunked?, I watched a Democrat Congressman completely irate over this and practically calling for war against Russia. Wanted them out of the security council and banished from global organizations and pacts.

But China? Nothing but "they aren't really that bad!" from the Democrats.

We were there just a few years ago and it was incredible how nice the city was. So sad what has happened. Just awful.

Glad I visited NYC a couple of years ago. It was a fun trip. I wouldn't go near that place now.

Couldnt happen to a nicer city.

Manhattan is one of my least favorite places anyway. Dirty, crowded, and expensive.

My daughter is in Manhattan right now.

On the one hand that's true... about 5th Ave around Trump Tower and up and down midtown area.

But the rest of the city is pretty much untouched. She says it is nice actually, very quiet compared to normal, you can get space walking and in the park and all the restaurants have outdoor table service. And very little traffic. she doesn't ride the subway any more and rarely takes rides. Mostly she walks which is easier now.

She is down in Greenwich Village and most places are open - a few are closed but not cuz they are damaged.

She goes to midtown and Central Park most days looking for a new apartment - on the positive side rent is a lot cheaper now and they are willing to make deals.

She plans on staying at least for the next year or so and see what happens.


Now about that video - link below - not sure you can confirm from this that all of these shops had damage OR they were maybe just boarded up as a precaution because of what happened to other places. But certainly it is boarded up and not great.

Sadly they are, and as a result, most of the normal folks in those areas are moving out. This is their tax base, so when the SHTF for their local government, what do you think they will do?
