I actually met DL in a restaurant in '14 or '15 after a conference in Vegas and he was pretty down to earth. He had a drink with a co worker and me and was pretty cordial even though neither of us knew who he was. When he realized we didn't know him he said "yall must watch FoxNews... it's okay if you do". I remember thinking he was a little arrogant but not a completely deranged person. Seems to follow the pattern of the entire Dem party which has only gotten crazier since then.

Must not be allowed to speak the truth anymore.

Pretty much everything he said is an undisputed fact. Maybe not "pull up your pants" and "don't litter" although I agree. But advocating for education, speaking properly, and not having children out of wedlock are as obvious as "don't play in traffic". Unfortunately all of those are poorly understood these days.
