Saw another chart today that resembles this one. I was unaware that they rejected the fall of man.

The differences between them and the rest of mainling protestant Christianity and Catholicism is no minor.

I can see why call them a Christian organization is so hightly debated.

Stranger -I am shocked that you don't know our theology on the "fall" of man. I have posted it several times. I will check the above link to see if they got it right. If it is not, I will give the right answer. We believe that "Adam fell that man might be and men are that they "might" have joy."

PS -If there were not going to be major differences, that would have meant there would not be major errors in Christian doctrines and no need therefore for a "restoration".

IMBAGG,
"If there were not going to be major differences, that would have meant there would not be major errors in Christian doctrines and no need therefore for a "restoration"

1 Corinthians 11:19 (NASB)
For there must also be factions among you, so that those who are approved may become evident among you.

The church at Corinth was in need of restoration, 1,950 years ago. You gotta keep the house like God established it by continually restoring to the Lord's specifications.

Imitations are not accepted Mr Smith...

Restoration? Or starting over with a blank sheet of paper? The Reformation was the latter, not the former.

TexasAg73 -no start over with a blank sheet of paper. Only the things that had been in the primitive Church. Big difference.

The Mormons say that we'll be rejoined with our bodies in the afterlife? Great. I'd really enjoy spending eternity diabetic, bald, and wearing bifocals. Whoop.

ro828 -Suggest that you learn about the resurrection. That will NOT be the kind of perfect, glorifed body of flesh and bone you will comeforth with in the resurrection. This mortal body was designed to wear out. Unfortunately lifestyle choices can greatly accelerate this process.

It is true that our resurrected bodies will be rejoined with our souls in heaven, just like Jesus' was....

I think it it will take place on this earth. We will not yet have been judged where we will spend eternity with our resurrected body.
