In this fairly lengthy piece Fr. Joe Carola, SJ uses the book/film's errors to teach about what we do know about the person and teaching of Jesus Christ, and how we know it.

I am not so nervous, because I know and trust in the power of God, not only to effectually call His own, but that they would not follow another…

John 6:37"All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out. 38"For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39"This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.

John 10:1"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. 2"But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep. 3"To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4"When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5"A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."

Therefore standing in the Word of truth, I do not have to fear of things that others fear. I can be Notafraid!

There is the strength of biblical Christiantiy against all other forms.

The first inaccuracy is on his first page title "FACT:" that inaccuracy is the title of that page. Unless you of course remember that this is a book of fiction and realize that this page is also fiction. I will admit that there is one fact there: there is an Opus Dei Society, but not as he describes in the book. Their corporal mortification practices are insignificant when compared to spending four years in the Corps of Cadets and several more in the USMC.
