Israel to Hit Iran ?

I think the Israelis will hit Iran preemptively....like they did with Iraq. Maybe this year...it is just a matter of time. They will never again passively sit back and let genocide happen to them yet again, imo.

I wouldn't take that too seriously. Rapture Ready has an agenda, as does the Pakistani news source it came from.
I look for Israel to take out the whole Iranian government with one swell foop...
Bad idea.........better to get the population to over throw the governemnt and be there to assist them. The Government may be crazy but the population is not as radical as those who have pushed their way into power.
I think Iraq is a great example of how a country can force their will on a people and it turn out great in the world.

Recent history shows otherwise, i.e. Nazism and Emperor deism. It took near total destruction from the outside to stop them both. The weekly Sunday rallys in Iran remind me of the Nurenburg rallys in Germany. Sheeple often follow crazy leaders to their mutual deaths.

Bingo! I don't believe the conventional wisdom about the rational Iranian masses yearning to be free of their theological government. The evil government serves at the pleasure of a complicit population.
From reading news stories and watching world events, Iranians are no longer as militant as they were back in the 70's and 80's. They have had huge student protests. Many of the wealthy Iranians live lives more like Europeans than that of a pias Sheite. None of this has any bearing on the extreme government that is in control. These guys are waiting for their time to make a move. Israel is in a pretty tough position right now. They are poised to have all of Islam come down on them. But for them I guess it is something they are used to.
Before anything goes down vis-a-vis Iran, I would hope our country's leaders would consult Amy Carter for her opinion and advice.
Her dad, as president, did such a terrific job of managing the little issue we had with Iran back then.

If Iran tries a nuclear attack on Israel, the Middle East will become a glass desert.... nukes will come flying out of Israel, followed by much, much bigger ones out of the United States. There will be nothing left.
It's one thing when sane world-powers have nukes... there was really never a real threat of Russia blowing up the U.S. or vice-versa so long as there was mutually assured destruction.
But when fanatical, illogical religious extremism (exremist muslims) are the ones behind the big red button, all bets are off.... that goes for the whole world. A nuclear war in any country will have disastrous physical and economic impact on the entire planet.
IMO, muslims should be prevented from developing or obtaining nuclear technology at all costs.

That is the beginning of the Great Tribulation, IMHO.
ZeroTX- I think that is a very irresponsible statement that you can't have nukes in the hands of Muslims as a whole. With respect to Iran, I totally agree. But I am not a big fan of grouping 1.5 billion as a whole.
Also, for what it's worth, Muslims do have nukes (Pakistan). Last time I checked, the world hadn't ended.

eus6267: You could rationalize letting a 2-year old play with a hand grenade the same way. We're not done feeling the long term repurcussions of the Pakis having nukes. The Paki scientist who founded their nuclear program sold nuclear secrets to all kinds of bad folks.
I, personally, would feel safer if I knew for a fact that no predominantly Muslim country possessed nuclear weapons.
However, there are Muslim countries with nuclear weapons; therefore, I do not feel as safe as I would if that were not the case.
