Notafraid, when it comes down to it, we agree on far more than we disagree on.

This quiz really is pretty good. Normally these things are either completely slanted to make you think you're something you're not, or just worthless in general. The order on this one though makes a lot of sense.

I said 'yes', it was ok to ordain women ministers, and I do believe it. After changing from ELCA to a LCMS church, I struggled with it, as the LCMS is very much against it, but came to the conclusion that there were conflicting ways to interpret the role of Deborah and other women in the Bible. As a result, I went back to my ELCA roots in this regard.

I've taken the second test before. If I recall, some of the answers that would make Mormonism come out high are multiple-entity godhead, pre-existence, and purpose of being on earth/trials (to experience life and prove ourselves). I'm not sure how 7thDay and JW believe on those topics; maybe they are similar to LDS.

Those are things I do not believe in. There are three questions pertaining to the divinity of God - 1, 2, and 8. It seems I had not read the answers for #2 very thoroughly before I answered; it seems #2 is the determining factor for Mormons and JWs. Even to the point that it makes the responses to #8 not to be used (I spent some time trying it).

I guess I need to read all of the answers before picking one. BTW, the downward thumbs if for me.

Liberal Quakerism?

Another good use of these surveys is to see how well you understand other denominations. Take it pretending like you are answering as somone else and see how close you can get to being identified as that denomination.

I know the Mormon beliefs well but don't do very well on any others.

No reformed baptist churched in B/CS, closest are in Houston and Austin.

What are the differences in reformed baptist and evangelical free? (infant baptism?)

I took the test, but was too embarrassed at the results. I can't figure out if the test is at fault or I am simply not in touch with my actual beliefs.

1) Assembly of God (not suprising since my current church is similiar and I was in Chi Alpha for awhile)
2) Evangelical Lutheran Church (guess this was the result of saying "yes" to women pastors)
