King Charles loves the Orthodox Church

So much for Anglicanism...

From half watching the crown with my wife, his grandmother became a Greek Orthodox nun. I mean, it's in his heritage.

And if he went back to his German roots he would be Lutheran…except in Bavaria of course.

I think the Anglican Church at this point is a disgrace, and many orthodox denominations would be tremendously better. Personally, I'm surprised he didn't convert to islam though, yet.

Hence my annotation "German roots…except in Bavaria".

Unification of Germany was after the royal family acceded to the British throne, of course. 1871-ish in the wake of the Franco-Prussian War, IIRC?
It was the war which really brought industrial scale slaughter to European battlefields although they would persist with romantic notions of warfare until World War I brought that nonsense to a stop.

There are many Anglican churches that are still faithful to the gospel and thriving. The Church of England however is a shell of its former self.

Some would say a solid shell of a shell…
