Why, doctrinally, is physical violence especially sundering, if someone fantasizing about an affair, or being irresponsible with household finances, or even stumbling in their faith?
If your husband is frequently looking at porn (committing adultery in his heart), has he divorced you?
If your husband continually spends money on big screen TVs and boat repairs when your family is struggling to deposit money int the kids HSA for medical expenses, has he divorced you?
If your wife stops going to church and a few months later says she no longer believes in any of that and no longer wants to talk about the Lord as an essential part of your marital union, has she divorced you?
