Not mine - it was some website. I agree that it isn't the best list.

I have read the Confessions, Rome Sweet Home, and Jesus of Nazareth.

I have also read about 40%of Theology of the Body. About 50 questions of the Summa and referenced Ott's book several times. This is a very intense reading list

Duh. It's THE bible, just like Jesus wrote it, in English, for good Christian American Republicans.

I am good with Reformation theology, thanks. That, plus the RC's current attempt to overthrow capital punishment in America makes it an alien, foreign, invasive entity when in prior centuries its clerics were so vociferous in their persecution of Lollards, Waldensians, Protestants of any stripe and maintains a hostile attitude toward the values of people like me.

City of God is one of my favorites. The diaries of St. Faustina are good as well.

Yeah about a few chapters in I felt like I was taking a first year seminary class. But so good! I feel like the world would be a better place if all Catholics read Frank Sheed.

Well, keep looking out there. I am sure that within the century you will encounter some authority figure who will grant you comfort.
