Just thought it pertinent. Outfit COs and First Sergeants stood to be removed on burn night if their fish were not in their holes by 10pm. This is NOT to stir up controversy or an argument, this is for you folks that new something about it or were concerned. We pulled together two buses, and some outfit officers took the initiative to bring loads on their own and with these efforts, every fish was returned on time and every officer is sitting pretty. For yet another year Cadets were able to stick to the chain of command AND experience Bonfire. Good news, says a lot about Corps leadership from my perspective. Well done fellas, again, proud of ya'll and everyone else should be too.

I heard people at the busses telling cadets when we arrived about special busses that would leave at 930 for the quad.

Great job on the cooperation. It would have been better if they could have stayed longer--but what they experienced is certainly better than nothing. Cadet leadership is fine--it is the administration above them that puts intentional roadblocks in their path.

Cadet leadership is great the problem is with GVA on his throne there is little CADET leadership...IMO GVA is a dictator making the rules as he goes...

Can anyone confirm that the Corps fish had a 10 PM curfew on Saturday night?

Sounds unlikely to me.

BTW, I am under the impression that Van Alstine is doing a great job for the Corps.

Yes, there was a 10pm lights out policy for the fish in the corps that night. They had corps staff go to certain outfits that had sent up letters asking permision for their fish to attend, and if the fish were not in thier holes the commander and 1st sergeant would be removed.
