Sorry to bother y'all again, this will be the last time, I promise. The reason for this thread is because I'm writing a Technical paper for english and the subject is to try and convince the A&M administration to bring Bonfire back on campus. Now, before you go crazy on me, I know it is pretty unrealistic at this point in time, but that is why I'm researching it.

I felt this would be the best place to come for some help regarding bonfire seeing as it attracts Ags of all ages. The main reason I came here was to get some of YOUR experiences with not only building bonfire, but campus life before the collapse and how it has changed since.

I'm not trying to be controversial, I just thought this would be a good place to come do some research.

I was hoping to interview someone who participated in bonfire at somepoint before the collapse, if possible someone who worked on it the year of, and someone currently working on Student bonfire. If you are one of these people, would be interested in being interviewed, and wouldn't mind being quoted in a paper, I would love to hear from you. Just shoot me an email at:

Also, I was going to mention the efforts of the students preserving the tradition off-campus, so if you are involved maybe in a leadership role in Student Bonfire I have a few questions if you would like to help me out.

The interviews wouldn't have to be in person if you don't want to. I could do them over the phone or through email, which ever is easiest for you.

That sounds like a great idea, thanks for the invite. The only problem is that I have three exams next week along with a rough draft of this paper to write for Monday. Maybe next weekend.

Also, if I want to get an official quote on the university's opinion of bonfire, who should I talk to?

The official quote should probably be gotten from someone in student affairs but I wouldn't know who. The answer will be something along the lines of "we cannot comment on Bonfire's future until all the litigation is over."
