Hi All,

The fall shows for KANM have started and there are some great lineups.

If you aren't aware, there is a radion station in the MSC basement near the frame shop. The station is run by student volunteers. The format is basically anything not on the Top 40 (present or past). Indie, Punk, Ska, Techno, Metal, International, Emo, Industrial, Hip Hop/Rap, etc.

or get out your flux capacitor and listen to mine on wednights or monday nights.

My roommate's girlfriend had a show on there last year, but she told me I couldn't listen to it.

Damn, I forgot about KANM. I was a DJ there in the late 80's and we played vinyl about 80% of the time. Brand new CD player, but we were'nt real smooth about playing it. And you had to bring your own CDs outside of the odd Smiths or REM CD laying around.

Man, I haven't thought about that gig in probably 5 years. Cool, though.

MKF, sorry about your crappy neighbor. The shows this semester are really great. I've been listening more than I ever have.

I got my own show...again. I DJ'd back in the mid-90's. Listen on Monday's at 1 PM.

I remember walking through Blocker and some guy stopped me and wanted to know if I was interesting in DJing because I was wearing a Modest Mouse t-shirt and he said it was hard to find people with great music taste that knew indie music.

I didn't do it because it was a busy semester, wish I would have though.

That was probably back in 99 or so.
