i think the hardy boys is another one that would make a great series, since the books are fairly short, but yet another one that would be great

I second BigAg's request, that would be awesome.

I would like to see a big blockbuster movie based on the rise and takedown of Pablo Escobar...like "Killing Pablo" or something

Danny devito could play him since thats about how he was built in real life.

Someone is an 'Entourage' fan huh?

'Without Remorse' by Clancy would be a hell of a novel Clark is a bad ass and needs to be the star of his own movie to get the right actor to play him.

Hardy Boys would be kick ass as well. I just got my little brother into reading them and I have a ton of those books.

i was sad when independence day two got canned. if it would have had a good script, it could have hit big.

i love the idea of a hardy boys movie!

Without Remorse by Tom Clancy

Rendevouz with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke.

I would like to see Dune given a serious budget with today's special effects.

This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti

If given an enourmous budget and threes films the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov would be entertaining to those who had read it, however would lose most who had not.

The Hobbit by Tolkien

i know i'll get slammed for saying it, but i think theres still a story to be told with the Godfather.

in the novel, you read about some of the years between 1920 and 1945, but none of the movies cover it. GFII's Young Vito storyline tells of his rise in the early 1900s, but stops there.

also then, i think a story can be told on the post 1979 Corleone family after michael corleone has retired, and vincent corleone is now in charge bringing the family into the 80s and 90s where drug trafficking and unions became more of a staple for the mob then they ever were in the years prior.

if Coppola directs it, and DeNiro agrees to star, then i think it can be done well.

so what i'm getting at is that a Godfather IV with parallel storylines a'la Godfather II would be a nice end to the series.

Benicio del Toro is a much better choice for the role than Vinny Chase.

I would like to see AN ORIGINAL NEW MOVIE WITH A WELL THOUGHT OUT PLOT AND GREAT CHARACTERS - something they stopped doing at least a decade ago. Now we have endless remakes of old movies, sequels without end, and awkward gross out comedies. No more ****ing King Kong, Spiderman, Star Wars, Superman, Kung Fu, black/white cop duos, Dukes of Hazzard, Harry Potter, The Ring, Planet of the Apes, Freaky Friday or any other dead horse movie concepts.

People constantly b*tch about the complete lack of creativity or vitality in the music business, but the movie industry is far worse. The only two good movies I've seen at the theater in about five years were The Passion of the Christ, and Walk the Line, and both of those allowed the script writers to get away without creating characters from scratch. Buncha ****in' hacks in Hollywood these days.
