okay, texags has never let me down before but I think I may be beyond help but figured I would take a flyer.

I was driving the other day and heard a song that I really liked, I promised to remember some words and look it up when I got home. Well I forgot and now about a week later I can't remember any of it.

Here's what I know and this is very vague:

(1) Never heard the song before leads me to believe its either new or obscure.
(2) Male singer, kinda of Jack Johnson/John Mayer-ish.
(3) The Chorus was something to the effect of "don't give up on love"


That is really all I can remember, unfortunately. I know its not a lot of help, but I'm holding out hope.

Does this sound right?

no, I actually found that song on the internet and its not it.

The song I'm talking about is slower than that and more like the guy is talking than singing

I know, its one in a million, but thanks for the attempt, it definitely fit my less than detailed description.

had to try. if you could remember another phrase or at least 1 unusual word in the song, that should narrow it down when googling.

I know, I just have the tune in my head which can't be googled for ****!

The thing is I didn't really absolutely love the song or anything, but I was trying to explain to my wife tonight and the fact that I can't remember is really annoying.

Not a unique phrase or word, but it does seem like the first chorus had words that rhymed in the middle and end of the lines.

This is really going to be just a shot in the dark, but I am racking my brain for more words.
