I liked it. It was funny as hell and some of the scenes were pretty much identical. Michael Irvin and Nelly were surprisingly good actors. Not great, but better than expected.

There are a hell of a lot of cameos and I'm pretty sure that I missed a few of them as they are older football players that I didn't recognize. Thankfully Jim Rome is in the movie for pretty much the same time you saw him in the previews.

Sucked. Adam Sandler was All Pro like Colonel Sanders was a military man. It just don't fit.

Because actors can do all the things that you see them do in movies?

No, because the reason Reynolds was so good in the first one was his timing and the fact that he looked like he could have been a fallen NFL star.

Sandler is funny, but the role didn't fit.

Nowhere near as good as the original. Bob Sapp was the only funny thing about it.

the original longest yard had more graphic violence and let loose the ethnic language, b/c it was the age before institutional pc. this is better.

On a more Texags note - did Courtney Cox seem a little more.......uh.......top heavy, in this film than in Friends?

I liked it but then again I like almost every Adam Sandler movie.

If you're also a fan, a word of caution, never rent "Going Overboard" thinking it might be good. Its horrible.
