****SPOILERS****
I don't think that its all Annakin's fault that he turned to the darkside. I lost a lot of respect for the Jedi, basically because they believe the opposite of hate is no emotion, not love. Also, how could Yoda have been the ONLY one to sense the impending betrayal by the storm troopers.
The Jedi didn't really follow any of their own rules. Either trust Annakin or do not, there is no [maybe]. If Mace brings Annakin with him to arrest Palpatine, then there are 4-5 Jedi standing there to bring him in, b/c Annakin would have let them all die.
Also you have to respect the emperor, he is seriously twisted. When he was shocking himself and begging Annakin to "save" him, that takes some real will power. And the "you killed her" line was perfect. It's no wonder Vader was so powerful, he was nothing but pure hatred, self-lothing, and physical pain. He was the perfect Sith because thise only fueld his power. He was molded and shaped by the emperor, who was probably stoked to find him nearly burned alive.
