Carter has some problems with when stuff came out.
I'll take Hey Ya, Groove Is In the Heart by Dee-Lite, Perfect Way by Scritti Pollitti, and how about Wishing Well by Terrece Trent D'Arby. I assume "pop" means stuff you might sing to in the car, but would never admit to!
Save It For the Morning After by Duran Duran just missed the 20 year cut, I think.

actually by "pop" i just meant popular music in general. i nominated "hey ya!" because i can't remember a song in the past 10 years or so that has been accepted and enjoyed by so many people from so many different cultures and lifestyles.
