Juan! I'm sure you could...you did an awesome job this year with NGMF.

You definitely don't want to miss Brave Combo. They are the best act in the whole concert series. Good times to be had.

the comment about money.... you DO remember that it is a FREE concert series... They make no revenue from this... how can you complain about free shows.

it also costs money to put on these shows, people won't show up and play for free. I don't have any financial interest in the starlight music series, just like i had no financial interest in the northgate music festival. My point is, why spend $10-$15k on an act that maybe 50 people will want to see when you cna spend it on an act that 1000-2000 will want to see?

Agreed. And if I miss them there I'll just catch them at any of the other hundreds of places they'll play this year.

I try to go to most of these shows even if it is someone I've never heard of or particularly care about. The weather is great this time of year...it's free...you can bring your own beer and food...there are worse ways to spend an evening in CS.

This series is a cool FREE event put on by the city. I could think of worse ways to spend an evening.

With that said, check out Bonnie Bishop. That girl is amazing! Radio doesn't do her voice justice - VERY powerful vocals (think Martina McBride). I don't care much for women singers - out of about 500 CDs, the only female CDs I have are Kelly Willis. I saw Bonnie open for Seth James at Gruene Hall a while back and she absolutely blew me away. It'll be worth parking and walking over to see her open.
