So, I don't know what to make of them, I really enjoy some of their stuff Dig, World So Cold, Not Falling, etc, however I've never bought a full album, so has anyone had a chance to listen to the new album Lost and Found?

I bought LD50 (Dig, Death Blooms), and its awesome. Somewhat weird and complex, but still really hard. Everything after that just seems OK. On a side note, when I saw them live, they freakin rawked.

Mudvayne sucks

I've heard of them, but never heard them.

I like a lot of their music, but they are definitely posers. Their web site had some kind of "vote for Mudvayne" for an MTV2 award a while back, and then when they won (the year they were in white suits with painted bullets in their head and blood all over them), they said that they don't believe art is a competition.

Regardless, their bassist is very talented.

LD 50 is great, The End of All Things to Come is also a good cd. I've heard the new song "Determined" on XM and its pretty heavy, but the other one I heard wasn't as good. I will definitely buy it when it comes out. If you get the chance to see them live they kick ass.

This band sucks .. its one of those "commercial made" metal bands .. they are comical and not talented.

Actually I guess the commercial made metal bands call themselves their own lame named genre "Hardcore".

Weak.

I hate it when musicians put on makeup etc. But they are much much more talented musically than anything you will hear on the radio. I like both of their albums. Neither is in my alltime favorites list, but when I am in the mood, they are up their with Pantera and Metallica etc.

They have a really decent lead singer, for a nu metal band.

i don't agree that they are a "commercial made" group at all. i'm not a fan either. i don't know how much control they have over their music, views, and creativity, but I have a feeling that a lot of that stuff is of their own convictions...some people are like that. i know, because I respect a band that is somewhat similar to them (i.e. artsy, make up wearing, crazy music playing fools by the name of Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - awesome musicians and artists, the only difference is they aren't on a major label)

Mudvayne - Nu Metal? Commercial Metal? Nu Metal is Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. Mudvayne is a bit too heavy to be considered nu metal. Mudvayne is not even close to being considered commercial, they get almost no exposure, don't see them on MTV all the time, most songs aren't even radio friendly. I would agree that Slipknot is becoming much more commercial with the amount of play they are starting to get on the radio when you consider their earlier work. Might want to reserve judgement till you know what you're talking about.

Watch the video that comes with "End of all..." I lost a little respect for them after watching that.
