Freakin hilarious. If you like South Park and/or hate America-bashing actors - go see it!

It's a movie that will define a generation.

I like that it is rated "R" for:

"Graphic, Crude, and Sexual Humor, Violent Images and Strong Language; ALL INVOLVING PUPPETS"
FuzzySquirrel
How long do you want to ignore this user?
The creators tried 10 times to get this movies rating below R.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
You sure that's not trying to get it TO an R? It started off as NC-17

The puppet sex was almost too much for me.

The Star Wars bar music was halarious.

I honestly have never laughed so much. This was the funniest movie I've ever seen. When the "panthers" attacked Joe and Sarah, I nearly fell out of my seat. And the torrid puppet sex scene scarred me for life.

Hilarious with several laugh so hard you cry moments. My favorite moments are too raunchy to post in detail but the Team America Anthem and the climactic finale were awesome.

Saw it last night. Hilarious!! I can't get the songs out of my head....."What would yewww deww?" "Pearl Harbor sucked just a little more than I miss you"

Lyrics: http://music.ign.com/articles/558/558234p1.html

The sex scene was way too much for me. I kept trying to tell myself that they're just puppets.

If that was too much then be glad they had to edit it, apparently it was 2 minutes long and they took out a shower and a necklace, you know the kind.

Stuck in my head all the way home after seeing it.

I saw it Friday night with several of my friends and we were still singing the theme song tonight after the game while we were playing poker.

We laughed almost the entire time. Very funny movie.

i don't think the movie was so much hounding on the "america-bashing actors" as it was the audaciousness of american egotism and resulting irrational actions. actually a lot of those actors are friends with parker and stone and have contributed to their previous projects along with moore. i think they were just thrown in to highlight their equal opportunity views of satire and how lazy and ill informed the public is that they can be influenced by entertainment figures who are pretty much just cashing in on the publicity of speaking out on high profile topics, or writing songs about them in toby kieth's case. i'd like to shove a buck o' five in his fat mouth - what a chode! otherwise i agree that the movie was hilarious. i thought it was great when they were "sneaking" him into the bar with their bazookas and flashy outfits blaring. it was so fitting, so were the over stereotyped interactions with anyone not from "the real america" - "dirka dirka allah jihad". oh, and the "bummer version" of the theme song was clutch. man i like to use quotations a lot don't i?

My girlfriend is always pestering me to be more romantic. She told me, "Just send me an email with romantic song lyrics or something, that's all I want."

I sent her these lyrics:
I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark
when he made Pearl Harbor.

I miss you more than that movie missed the point
and that's a lot girl. And now, now you've gone away
and all I'm trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked
and I miss you.

I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school.
He was terrible in that film.
I need you more than Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part.
He's way better than Ben Affleck and now,
all I'm trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you.

Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies.
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked just a little bit more than
I miss you.

Actually, Parker and Stone have a pretty huge beef with Michael Moore right now. It has to do with the cartoon shown in Bowling for Columbine right after Stone was interviewed. They thought that the way it was drawn, misrepresented them in making it look like they drew it. They've been pretty PO'd about that for a while now.

Watched it last night and laughed non-stop from beginning to end. I think those silly marionette puppets made the movie even funnier. The scene with Gary puking in the alley about killed me, as did the confrontation between Kim Jong Il and Hans Brix.

if you think the real butt of the movie's joke was the "hollywood left", you weren't paying attention.

If you think the movie's primary target was right-wing-America-is-the-best-"shoot first and ask questions later"-preemptivism and not left-wing-radlib-Hollywood-activism, you're in denial. Both the good guys and the bad guys are caricatures. But the bad guys are definitely Kim Jong Il and his Hollywood sympathizers. Who wins in the end? TAWP.

What's great about this movie is that you will see your particular side as the side that is glorified and the other side as the one ridiculed. The criticism of the left is blatant, as they are the ally of the terrorists, albeit unknowingly. The criticism of the right is much, much more subtle. In the first scene were they kill the terrorists in Paris, but in the process destroy the Eifel Tower, the Louvre, and other Paris landmarks and then expect everyone to thank them being one example.

I don't know if I would call the opening scene subtle

This is going to be a profitable movie because everybody will focus on the ridicule directed at the opposing side and not that being directed at theirs.

the movie is not making fun of the left, but of the "typical American ego" that seems to fuel these "irrational" decisions.

sean penn isn't the brightest kid out there so i'm sure he couldn't quite comprehend it.

True, but I'd say it was more subtle than Michael Moore being a suicide bomber.

It seems Sean isn't the only one. Are you a member of the Film Actors Guild by chance?
Howard Roark
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I think he meant that it's not justmaking fun of the left, but the egoism of both sides. The right thinks it needs to save the world at any expense by killing terrorists, the left wants to save the world at any expense by stopping the right from trying to save the world, even if that means killing them.

haven't seen the movie, but that's what i took from previews and clips, but obviously i could be wrong.

just have a hard time anything coming out of hollywood being pro-usa or supporting our recent actions lately.

so the movie support what united states foreign policy? well done...
BMX Bandit

movie makes fun of both sides.

F.A.G. (unlike actual hollywood) has legitimate complaints regarding Team America.
