I have never seen this movie, but this essay on the lighting and the tone of the movie makes me want to see it. Anyone watched it? What are your impressions of it and would you consider it a masterpiece from Kubrik?

Yes it's a masterpiece! A new print is touring art house theatres and museums. Criterion released an awesome blu ray. Not to be missed

Never seen it but my sister was obsessed with it when it came out. She had the poster and soundtrack and everything.
