Announced today at Blizzcon. Hopefully this turns out like Castlevania or Cyberpunk: Edgerunners with fantastic stories and the animation to back it up.

Quote:

Per Blizzard's official description of the project, "After decades of bringing entire universes to life through our games, we're partnering with some creative powerhouses to tell even more stories beyond gaming across new screens. A new animated series set in the world of 'Diablo' is in development with Netflix. More details will be shared in the future, but this is only the beginning, with even more taking shape across our universes."

I've long said with their cinematic skills blizzard should be in the entertainment business. They may miss on games but never their cinematics lol.

As long as it's better than the Warcraft movie.

Even the new Heman movie was better than that rubbish. 1 gnome warlock would have at least made it interesting.

I actually enjoyed the Richard Knaak Diablo books I think they could base something around one of the stand alones or the sin war trilogy.
