What movie has the most actors that either went on to greater things or had the most impressive cast of legendary actors? Top of my head:
1. The Outsiders. Cruise, Swayze, Matt Dillon, the Karate Kid himself, Rob Lowe, Estevez, Diane Lane… pretty much everyone but Kevin Bacon. These actors weren't household names before this movie, but they became fairly well known in the decades after.
2. Steel Magnolias. Dolly, MacLaine, Gidget, Pretty Woman, Daryl Hannah, Sam Shepherd, and a few others. Pretty good list of actors who could have starred in their own movie at the time.
3. The Godfather. Pacino and Brando for starters. Then Diane Keaton, Robert Duvall, and James Caan. Big enough that DeNiro comes in for the sequel.
The Brat Pack movies and Marvel are packed, but a lot of those actors aren't known for much else. But a case could be made for some of those.
