It's truly one of the greatest examples of why an ideal society will never work. And the people who do this every year learn absolutely NOTHING From their failures

that's kind of the point. the founders wanted it to be a place for free spirited people to gather and live in an free society without politics and rules and be a place with unlimited free expression and they get exactly what those types of people bring.

I had a couple relatives in town over last weekend. One of them lives near Reno just on the California side and he was griping about flying into and out of the Reno airport because it was jam packed with oddballs last weekend headed to Burning Man.
