I would watch an "I play Rocky" movie about how this movie came to be made.

Definitely in. Wish my old man was still around, he always got a kick out how the coyotes contraptions would mess up.

The looney toons movie from a few years ago is really good as a FYI. The day the earth blew up.

I grew up on Looney Tunes. What are your favorites? Mine has to be the Rabbit of Seville

EDIT: sorry...they had it split up into 3 different parts

Apparently there are outtakes that the director says are "not PG-rated"! I'm absolutely seeing this in theaters!

"Hey you, don't look so perplexed, why must you be vexed, can't you see you're next...yes you're next, you're so next."

I sometimes can't recall stuff from the day before, but this immediately came to mind...WTF.

Hare Force (1944), because it reminds me of the repetitive silliness of my brother and I fighting, my mother attempting to intervene, and then my brother and I turning against her, which is in the last minute of the 7 minute short:

One of the reasons we're getting this movie, from what I've heard, is that after it was scrapped there was serious uproar from folks who had worked on the film and seen early cuts talking about how good it was.

So yeah, optimistic but the buzz around this has been very high since very early on.

Pretty cool. Kinda sounds like the Deadpool treatment…

I'd never heard of it until recently so I was way out of the loop on this one. But I may have to check this one out.

One of the best movies I've seen in theaters in the last decade!

Hilarious, and the writing is so good.

The audience in our theater was loving it, too. So much fun.

Really, really, ****ing good!!!

Good for young kids under 5? Or not so much? Guessing they wouldnt really be able to follow anything.

Yes! Kids under 5 should enjoy the coyote and roadrunner humor. Timeless entertainment

The movie has surprisingly heartfelt themes around resilience and overcoming adversity, too. 3 year olds probably won't follow that, but there are animated cartoon characters throughout the movie mixed in with the live action.

Take them to the theater this weekend!

Our plans got rained out, so we saw it yesterday. It is a solid movie and definitely worth a rewatch when it comes out on streaming. The writing works and the callbacks are great. They do a great job blending the cartoon and real world. All the basic tropes are there, but are woven smartly into the story: corporate greed, friendship, grit, failure, standing up what is right, etc.

When you realize your taste in classical music comes from cartoons.

from What's Opera Doc.
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.

So many others....

And I'll never forget the day sitting in 11th grade English class, discussing Of Mice and Men, when my brain realized that it had inspired this classic

What's Opera Doc is a classic, but in general, I'm not big on opera. I prefer music from America.
