Seeing as I can barely remember how the first season ended, I was lost for damn near the entirety of this trailer. I'm definitely going to need a detailed season one recap video before August 28...

This was one that I always meant to watch, but it must've gotten overrun by Severance or Silo in my rotation.

How was Season 1? Worth watching?

I think I bailed on S1 right before it started getting cool.

Season one was great. I remember being annoyed by a couple choices here and there, but overall it was awesome. While I don't remember the exact details, I remember it ending so well that I almost couldn't envision a second season. It played like a 10-episode movie with a pretty definitive ending, at least in terms of character arcs. Then again, I'm sure there was a string or two left dangling that I've forgotten.

There is no source material to work with beyond season 1 as the book/show wrapped up as a one season show. Feels like a money grab that could go either way in terms of if Itl be any good or not, but I can't see how it won't be a step down. Wish they'd adapt other Crouch books instead, especially wayward pines (which could be epic if done right), but maybe they've got some writers who can come up with story lines independent of original source material.

This show was great, but I definitely thought it was a one and done... if there was a cliffhanger I don't remember it.

There wasn't. It wrapped up exactly as the book did. Hopefully Apple can make this work and make it not feel forced and half assed. Not feeling too confident, but Apple has done well with their shows so far, so hopefully they got some good writers involved.

From my understanding Blake Crouch helped write and formulate the story for season 2.

I liked season 1, but I hope they come up with a lot more plot options and narratives than the "we've been found again, let's run" of S2E1 so far.
