This movie is going to be huge.
I thought at first the actor sounded like a caricature of Stallone, but then I realized that Stallone sounds like a caricature of Stallone, so he nailed it.
So now Hollywood is "making movies" about Making Movies?

Hell yeah. Definitely seeing this in the theater. Say what you will about a lot of his movies, but you have to respect his drive and work ethic. And as a Gen X who grew up in the 80's Sly and Arnold were as much of my youth as Transformers and G.I. Joe.

Its not about just making Rocky its about the great story behind it. And it looks a heck of a lot more interesting than the recent Springsteen biopic or half a dozen others.
Rocky is an American hero. I'm in!

HELL YES. Can't wait to see this...especially after hearing the real story behind Stallone and the release of this movie for the first time last week. I don't think people realize how close Stallone was to being a nobody.
This is some time travel / vampire voodoo. They look and act so much like a young Stallone and Weathers.

Trailer gives too much away, imo. If you don't know the backstory of Stallone and Rocky I'd stay away from reading up about it and just enjoy the movie.

I had no idea this was in the works. I will definitely be seeing this.
Rocky has as much of a story behind the making as you'd find in a film about an artist whose song defined their career.

I dunno. I'm a big Sly Stone fan and it's kind of weird for me that he's not involved in it whatsoever. I know it's not a biopic, but to leave him completely out of this project seems odd to me.
It's like Rocky but about making movies. Wait...what?

Yeah, this looks great, and I've been hearing really great things about the movie itself. It apparently delivers.

I was definitely getting The Offer vibes watching the trailer and that's not a knock at all as I really enjoyed that series. This looks fantastic and since it has Tracy Letts I bet we get a Rewatchables episode very soon afterwards.

They've been doing this for a LONG time. No one loves Hollywood like Hollywood.
But, honestly, some of them are great and some suck. I loved The Offer.

The story behind Rocky is just as inspirational, if not more so, than the movie. Stallone basically willed this thing into existence. He went from living in his car to a household name. It's amazing how much the real story parallels the movie, just different contexts.

Every Which Way But Loose was Eastwood's best movie in my opinion. I really can't say enough good things about that character.

I was just about to say that guy looks like the actor from "The Offer." I really liked that series as well. Will have to give this one a watch.
We're one step closer to Frank Stallone's story being made into a feature film.

Not that you guys would care per se but, the quick shot of "The 11" before the shot of the "Warners" Lot was incredible.
I didn't realize that "The 110" used to be "The 11" in the 1970s. And all the cars in that shot are period correct so I'd love to know where they got that footage.
