Watched last night.
Kids dressed up. Brought their gear with them.
I fell asleep. Really long day but I promised.
Kids loved it.
Theater was only half full.
Somebody's kid was running all over the place but he was pretty quiet.
Probably will watch again.

I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

im hearing that the first half of this film is WAY better than it has any right to be as the 7th film in this "universe." Apparently the second half is much more what you'd expect out of a film like this.

But from what I've heard given the content of the first half of this thing I think a lot of folks on this board are gonna like this one.

I will probably end up seeing this one as well, with the wife, and no kids. Just like TS5 last week (which I fully admit turned out to be a really great film). My wife is fully suffering from early onset of STBENAD (Soon to be Empty Nester Anxiety Syndrome).

See what you guys have to look forward to?

It was meh. I feel asleep and I love kids movies. My 12 and 10 year old enjoyed it enough I guess.

Saw it on Saturday. Pretty full for a Star Cinema Grill theater. My kids 8 and 6 loved it and ot kept with the tradition of the other movies.

My wife and I tried to count how many different languages the minons used, we got to 7 we recognized. Probably missed another 7 lol.

I caught myself falling asleep towards the end though. Probably a combination of the cold theater, recliner chair, heated seat, and a full belly.

Minions and Meh. It didn't suck, but it was the weakest entry in this franchise. Funniest parts were in the credits. Kids liked it ok.

Holy fook it is so loud in theaters these days. I might be out on them going forward. It is uncomfortable loud. Gotta be above 85 decibels.

Same - all of the versions of Despicable Me & Minions are on constant rotation at our house - particularly when my 8 year old has control of the remote - and we are all happy to watch...but I wish I hadn't dropped the $$ to take the family to see this in theater.

Being a movie buff, I definitely enjoyed the first half and trying to name all the easter eggs.
