Just finished S1 and really liked it! The twist was shocking- hopefully s2 can carry it.

So far S2 is really good. Intriguing to say the least.

I highly recommend this series. If you have Apple TV, watch it. So well made, Colin Farrell does a great job and I think season 2 is even better. The noir flavor is good and I like how they interlace clips of old movies to stress a feeling.

The chemistry of Sugar with Charlotte in season 2 is off the charts.

Very underrated series, for sure.

I do enjoy hanging out with this show. The reveal at the end of S1 was strange, didn't really fit, but thankfully not a huge part of this season or even the day-to-day of Sugar.

I do love the LA noir vibe, bourbon neat, suits, and flashbacks of old Hollywood. The new characters were nice, Charlotte, Sugar's PI assistant, but man did I hate the Moon brothers. The boxer was hilarious. Always flying off the cuff at the drop of a hat. This little Korean man acting tough was pretty funny and obnoxious to me.

I didn't love this season, but a good watch and easy. B-

Solid show. Easy to watch with only 8 40ish minute episodes per season.

The opening credits theme is very reminiscent of not just Nighthawks, but Edward Hopper's painting style in general.

Season 2 had some very Vince Gillliganesque sequences, particularly in the cremation process.

The shorter boxer is just not a very good actor. I had seen him in Pa*****o, but had no idea he was so short until seeing him in this.

Tony Dalton does a great job.
