As I have bailed on The Last of Us - at least for now, but I have no incentive to watch it right now - I added it to my list of shows I never finished. I keep lists of everything I've seen (movies and TV) and rank them and stupid stuff like that. Well I have a never finished TV list from the streaming era anyway.

Here is my list and a few reasons why if there was a specific one.

These I actually have some intention to finish someday... maybe.
The Squid Game - never started S2
The Orville - I did go jump to watch the finale but did not see most of that final season
Dave - started S2 and it just didn't have the hook S1 did for me
Sneaky Pete - just stopped after S2
Black Mirror - made it thru S3
Shooter - finished S2
Marvelous Miss Maisel - made it thru half of S2
Sex Education - only watched S1
Westworld - made it thru S3
Ozark - still need to watch last season not sure why I haven't
The Last of Us - debatable right now whether I will get bck to it, maybe if I hear rave reviews


These I just stopped watching and don't really intend to start again.

Letterkenny - watched thru S3 and lost interest it was highly repetitive it felt like
Killling Eve (BBC-A)

Broadchurch - only watched S1 and a sporadic episode or two of S2 as my wife kept going
Tiger King - never even finished S1

Not sure if a lot of people do this. Maybe the streaming era leads to people sampiling and quitting a lot of shows. I don't know.

Back in the day if I watched a network show I generally watched it until it ended. I would try a few new shows every year looking for some to fill the gaps but I usually stuck with any that I tried unless or until they were cancelled. So I think this is unique to the streaming era for me.

I tried to watch man in the high castle like 4 times because I love the concept. It's just not a great execution.

I would have to think back on some of these. Too many.

There are only 3 seasons of Arrested Development. That's all.

The Office. I've seen the final episode but not all of the post-Michael episodes.

The Morning Show

Supernatural. Made it to the last season and just couldn't sit thru the rest

Whatever that show is with Christina Hendrickson and the other two chicks where they get into money laundering

Ozark

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. It tried too hard

Same feelings. It took me years to finish it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really worth it. Should've cut my losses.

Walking Dead

Bailed on Dark Matter right before it got interesting. Ah well.

Walking Dead - stopped at Season 9 after seeing they were going to let Neegan live.

The Last Ship. Not sure why I stopped after Season 2.

Breaking Bad

No real reason. Just stopped.

I was a WD OG. I started many, if not most, of the *****OFFICIAL SEASON***** posts on here. I bought the hard-bound books. I was all in.

Until I finally wasn't. I finally threw in the towel at the mid-season break of I think Season 8. I just couldn't force myself to care anymore.

Mad Men - I've tried twice, only made it through season 2

Friends - stopped watching around season 4 or 5, only seen a few episodes after

Simpsons - similar to Friends, stopped around season 10

The Leftovers -only watched first season

Peaky Blinders - stopped after season 2

Walking Dead - stopped around season 4

Fargo - haven't watched the last 2 seasons

SOA - stopped after season 2

Falling Skies - The first couple of season were really good and then it just completely sucked and I gave up.

Last of us. Couldn't finish season 1. Just was a mediocre adaptation of a great game. Season 2 is a worse story so don't see the point of continuing.

Walking Dead. Should have quit on it long before I did

I wasted sooo much time with The Walking Dead.
That story just went nowhere slowly.
And, from what i've heard, i didn't miss anything

We watch everything kinda late...so it's a bigger shame if we still can't just binge something. With that said.

I'll watch the last season of Stranger Things, but if it never aired, I really wouldn't care. Season 4 happened so long ago, that I really have no enthusiasm for season 5.

It's extremely tough for me to abandon a show if I've put over a season into it, sunk cost fallacy and all that. Needless to say I've wasted a lot of time on truly bad television. If I do abandon a show, that's really saying something about my opinion on it...

Walking Dead was so good around the Negan introduction. As soon as "All Out War" started it started petering downhill. Then the protagonist departure made the series go to aimless *****

There was one epi in the final season (I think) that was phenomenal. It was a Negan backstory and was so very well done.

Oh yea, and don't watch the rick and michonne limited series. It is utter garbage

There were some really good threads on it here. It was a grind that was mostly good but lots of oof and the last few episodes are some of the best and worst TV has to offer

Honestly that's one of the biggest problems now. Production times take so long that you basically just move on from the show/storyline.

and that's why we wait to watch shows. I'm barely making my way through Season 4 with my wife. My kids can just rewatch that stuff over and over. They find it riveting.

anyway, should be good timing for Season 5. BTW, the Stranger Things store in Las Vegas was really pretty cool to walk through.
