Sometimes a series gets strung along a little too far (According to popular opinion).

You know, that hated sequel(s) where a lot folks say "It was not needed", or "That one character killed it for me", or "The plot wasn't as good as the first one"..Etc Etc

Give me an example of something you enjoy that the consensus says is subpar

IMO, the best 3 movies ever are The Empire Strikes Back, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

I enjoy Alien 3 for what it is. It's nowhere near Alien or Aliens in quality but I do find it entertaining for all its flaws. Plus it being my first David Fincher experience helps as well. I just wish we got the film that he wanted to make.

I don't know what people generally think of Back to the Future 3 but I've always liked it. The first film is one of my favorite movies of all time, I don't like part 2, but part 3 was fun and if it's on when I'm changing channels I'll watch it.
