The Last Kingdom - loved
Vikings - really loved
Frontier - eh
Black Sails - started but unsure if worth continuing

Looking for suggestions in similar genre and quality.

Have you watched Vikings: Valhalla?

I tried the first episode right after Vikings and it felt a step down in quality.

It gets better. There's 2 seasons now, and it finishes pretty strong.

Marco Polo was extremely well done.
As stated above, Vikings Valhalla is really good.

Absentia on prime is pretty solid and not many know about it.

I have considered a rewatch of Last Kingdom, but haven't drawn the sword on that one yet. Black sails was really enjoyable as well, but apparently I missed a huge plot point until the last few minutes of the show.

I am monitoring this thread as I need a new series to watch and I am sure that this thread will deliver.

I know it is not the same plot, but have you ever watched Justified? I am considering doing a rewatch on this one if I cannot find a good show to watch.

The Gentlemen on Netflix. Season 1 was good, has been renewed for season 2. It's a bit formulaic, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Mr. In-Between - three season show about an Australian hitman

I spent yesterday watching the "1923" Season 1 marathon on Paramount ... my second time through the series.

It's probably the best of the "Yellowstone" trilogy so far, without any of Sheridan's goofiness or massive plot holes -- yet. Some of it is serious and difficult to watch, but the story is very compelling. Hopefully he won't mess up Season 2.

Also, "Tulsa King" is a pretty good show -- Mafia with a bit of humor thrown in now and then. Stallone is in his element.

Black Sails was awesome until it wasnt, dont bother... The Lost Pirate Kingdom docuseries is really good if you like Pirates.

Peaky Blinders obviously if you haven't done it yet.
Poldark was rad and I really got into Medici

Black Bird on Apple+ is well worth the watch.

The White Lotus is another good one.

We just finished season 1 of survivor. Only 46 more to go lol. We've seen a handful of seasons and don't watch when it's live but my wife and I have really started to love it.

Samurai Jack. Animated series with .very different visual style.

1st 5 seasons he's the noble nomad, helping where he finds himself. The last season . . . whooooo, doggie, do they change things up!

I still say it the most hybrid between cartoons and old, long shot westerns. The cinematography (or cartoon equivalent) is amazing and creats a very unique tone the story is told in.

Episodes are usually 23 minutes l, give or take.

A great show that i found as an.adult and.woulnt give back to the kids!
