Just curious what people enjoyed the most last year.
Preferably something released last year or very end of 2023, not something like Season 3 of Charmed that you watched in 2024.

Actually, knowing the worst or your unfinished series of 2024 would be interesting. Or even the best or most ridiculous scenes or whatever.



For my shallow taste, I really enjoyed The Fall Guy.
. My favorite series was Bad Monkey.

I couldn't make it through season 2 of The Old Man

It definitely sucked. That's why it made $636m domestic.

100% Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and The Fall Guy. Both were amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised by Twisters

I still need to see Gladiator II and Deadpool/Wolverine.

Ted Lasso, HoD, Fallout, Shogun, Shrinking, The Outsider, True Detective seasons 1 and 3. Yea, some of these I'm just now seeing.

Dune 2, Twisters, also Mad Max but watched it at home.

Huh - just realized 7 of the 11 were sequels/prequels and one was the first of a 2 parter.

Wicked blew the doors off my expectations . We had 4 different renditions of defying gravity on the karaoke machine on new years

I just didn't really get excited about any of the songs. Even what I think are the two most popular (Popular and Defying Gravity) just didn't really do it for me. They were simply OK. Not that I need simple songs with catchy hooks, but it definitely helps. And none of these songs really seemed to fit that bill, IMO. They all just seemed so....convoluted, for lack of a better word....like they were trying too hard.

Lol, relax, didn't mean it personally and it wasn't meant as any sort of shot at people who liked Wicked. My wife liked the movie. And I'll watch part 2 with her. Just making a simple observation that the songs didn't really do it for me. But I do agree with most that Grande was surprisingly good in this role.

Enjoyed Twisters and Fall Guy.

Rings Of Power S2 was good for me.

Was the Willow series this year? That was probably biggest disappointment.

Dune 2 didn't captivate me.

We really are almost out of page 1 without Oppenheimer being mentioned?

Oppenheimer was released in July 2023.

It is now January 2025 and we're talking 2024 movies.

Holy crqp I'm old, guess I'm the only,one who waited for it to come to Amazon before watching.
