we watch all of them (5 and 7 year old)

we watched The Naughty Nine last night. it was actually really good. There were some controversial aspects of it but they werent highlighted much. I do not care to argue about it. please dont make this thread into that. DM me if you want details. just giving a small warning because I am recommending it and you may or may not find it inappropriate for your family with small children.

we watched 8 bit Christmas this weekend for the first time as well and really liked it


what movies do you recommend? we have seen most of them but I know we are missing some.

we have never watched The Christmas Chronicles.

My kids are slightly older than yours, but they like Christmas Chronicles, Muppet Christmas Carol, Home Alone, & Elf.

They too enjoyed 8 Bit Christmas.

My girls love The Christmas Chronicles. They're now 10 and 11 (almost 12). But they've been watching those for a few years.

Not to be seen with a 5 and 7 year old, but I loved Violent Night. My son and I will probably watch that this year (he's in 8th grade).

I think we watch it on Prime Video. We watch it every year. My kids are 13 and 15, and still enjoy it

Klaus on Netflix is really great, and puts a fairly original twist on a bit of a Santa origin story. My son is 7 and we've been watching it regularly for 2-3 years. I don't get tired of it, and it's kind of become a must watch in our house each year (often more than once).

It's not for everybody, especially kids, but the Christmas episode of Ted Lasso is one of the funniest things I have ever watched.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

If you can find it, watch the original version from the '80s.

If you have kids under 10, have them read the book.
