I've been in the attic this morning flushing my water heater. The entry is in the closet of my 4 year old's room.

My AC/DC Pandora station is going - Led Zeppelin "Good Times Bad Times" playing. She starts yelling at me "Hey Daaaa-ad. Daaaa-aaaad?".

I pause the music. She says "I really like your music. I'm happy you're playing it for me today". Melts your heart.

Oof. I've stepped through the ceiling before. Bumped my head and mis-stepped. Never again - all the areas I have to access are decked.

My daughter loves all genres of music since she was the age of your daughter. Her love of music was the main inspiration for me recently buying a bass guitar.

I'm trying to learn Thunder Kiss '65 and she comes in my room rocking like a metal head.

I play B.B. King Hummingbird and she sings along "Oh she's little and she loves me..."

She also will sing the last song she hears when leaving the car, so imagine my dismay when she exits singing

Sailors do it wetter
Soldiers do it better
But cowboys stay in the saddle just a little bit longer
