This one got some mixed reviews and some really bad reviews but I actually liked it.

It's not a horror movie but more of a slowly unwrapping psychological mystery low octane thriller. The only movie that comes to mind is a slower paced "gone girl"

No scares or chills, just an uneasy mystery revolving around a gift from a mysterious benefactor with one condition as a metaphor for the secrets we keep inside ourselves.

I had thought the ending would be predictable but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely would catch this one at home streaming with the wife or girlfriend.

The only thing I thought funny is that literally every female in this movie has the duck lips Botox look. I guess there aren't enough talented early to mid 30's actors and actresses because they keep casting these mid 40's early 50's performers as "young" and then refer to them as "so young" multiple times so you pretend they aren't well past young adulthood.

Fast Fred's reviews were always: Saw "xyz"…you made me think of him.

Sorry for the immediate derail.
