Didn't see a thread on this. A Netflix Animated series by Zack Snyder based on Norse mythology. I don't know a lot of Norse mythology but reading more about the gods their referencing, this has a lot of historical (is that the right way to phrase that?) mythology packed into it.
Very adult meaning gore, violence, sex etc… and very Zack Snyder meaning dark, serious and somewhat convoluted. I liked Bloof of Zeus and and if you liked that, you'll probably like this.
Seen 6 episodes so far. I think it's actually a pretty good story and the setting fits his directorial style. It's weird seeing Thor as more Ramsey Bolton because of marvels take on him the last near two decades but probably a more accurate portrayal.
I liked learning more about the Vanir, the Völsung clan and some other lesser Norse gods.
