High Potential: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes

I almost never watch network tv, but the wife wanted to watch the first two episodes of this show that just debuted. Sweet Dee from Always Sunny is the lead character - and she does a great job - both comedic and drama wise (and damn if she hasn't aged gracefully).

So far it's getting good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and other sites.

It was entertaining for sure - will give it a chance.

For the last 3 weeks, I've thought these commercials had it starring Elizabeth Olson (Scarlett Witch)

I agree never watch Network TV, but her last show The Mick was great and proved to me she can carry a show. Also I'm a sucker for detective, smartest person in the room shows. First two episodes have been good and I'll stay with it....

I loved Monk too. I rewatched the entire 8 seasons on Netflix last month.

This is the female version of Psych.

The quick-witted main character that can see more than everyone else, the detective that has to work with them, but doesnt like them. Some of the story-lines are identical.

The wife wanted to watch this as well. The show is funny, maybe not terribly original, but worth watching.

Super formulaic and some of the dialogue is eye rolling and cheesy, but we've enjoyed the first few episodes.

Just found this original show has multiple seasons on Hulu - "HIP - High Intellectual Potential". Some changes from the French version to the US.

It is all in French, with subtitles, but it goes almost exactly with the current show. Some even shot-for-shot.

If you like this show, and don't mind reading subtitles, it's enjoyable.

Really no different than "Ghosts" UK and US versions, in terms of "they did it, we'll do it".
