We watched this yesterday. Didn't think I'd like it, but I actually laughed quite a bit and thought the stories (3 separate ones) were entertaining. I could have seen each of these being developed as a miniseries instead of done in more of a short story format.
Same director as The Favourite and Poor Things which also stared Emma Stone. Jesse Plemons was great as always.
KINDS OF KINDNESS is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.
