There's a pretty good thread going on the main board about the top ten best baseball movies. With a young son, I'm always thinking about what movie's I'll get to introduce him to over the next decade. So what are your top 5 sports movies where the target audiences is kids?

2. Mighty Ducks 2
3. Karata Kid
4. Rookie of the Year
5. Cool Runnings

I'd probably swap out Little Giants with Rookie of the Year, but overall good list.

Have to add Remember The Titans

Sandlot is #1, with D2 a close second.

We've been introducing these to the kids of late. What was it about the 90s that made it peak kids' sports movie era anyway?

I'll throw Little Big League out there. I don't think it belongs in the top 5 but it hasn't been mentioned yet and I think it deserves a watch with the kids.

Solid list but I'd end up tweaking it by swapping out the original Mighty Ducks for the sequel and Little Giants for Rookie of the Year….

lol, I love the movie, but it's rated R and definitely not a kids movie.

Depends on how cool your parents are.

If your kid loves baseball...this is the movie to watch.
