I was surprised that, after doing a quick search, there wasn't a thread about the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie. Can't get enough of Murphy these days - such a good actor.

Got hooked on it during 2020 and would sit on my back porch drinking bourbon every night watching this.

I definitely have to see the movie.

It seems like it's been 12 years since I watched the last episode.
I'll probably have to go back and rewatch the entire series for everything to make sense again.
Excited for the movie, though. I would probably watch however many more seasons of the series they wanted to make.

Pretty sure you can get drunk and lung cancer just by watching the show. No need to actually drink or smoke.

Over the years I've just stuck with old school Star Wars:

you can eff off with your friends at Toshi Station when your chores are done

The last season was such a boring slog and I can't recall one ounce of the plot or what was going on.

But Cillian Murphy certainly owns that role, so maybe a more tight focused 2 hour movie will be a fun dive back into the world of Tommy Shelby
